I registered for the HGTV Dream Home; it is a gorgeous home in Park City, Utah this year. I always enjoy exploring the pictures and videos on the website and learning more about the process of designing and decorating these beautiful homes. I know a winner was drawn earlier this month, and I am still hopeful, but I am assuming I am not that person since Monica Pedersen has yet to knock on my door. :)
I have been thinking about this from a different perspective the last few days though...an eternal one. I basically was "registered" for a dream home when I was nine years old. And even though Monica seems sweet on TV, Jesus will be the one coming back to take me to my home in Heaven someday. So, instead of watching, waiting, and hoping for a home I MAY win (1/81,101,314 odds), I am going to focus today on the one I have been promised (1/1 odds).
